The 3rd European Championships for Under 20 Women begin on 30th
July, with England competing in Group A of the Qualifying Round
being held in Lisbon, Portugal.
There are four groups of teams competing around Europe next week
in hope of advancing to the Final Round of the Championship.
With the exception of Group D, the top three teams from each group
will advance to the Final Round (the top two advance in Group
D).
Among
the opponents England will face in this Qualifying Round are Spain,
Italy, Portugal, Ireland, and Belgium. They will have a tough
five games in five days schedule beginning with Spain, always
a strong contender.
